Which next release will see a new set of desktop wallpapers?

Asked by Wise Melon

I don't really know how things go in terms of desktop wallpaper updates in Ubuntu GNOME because I only started using it when 15.04 was released (well, a little while after that actually I think), but the desktop wallpapers don't seem to have been changed in Ubuntu GNOME since 14.04, so I am wondering how things go? Will there be a new set of wallpapers in 16.04? Or are we sticking with these for ever? Or...?

And will we ever see desktop wallpaper competitions for every new release like in other flavours and have new sets of wallpaper for every new release?

Hi Nikita,

Good question. Perhaps a bug report should be filed so we can get some fresh wallpapers in for 16.04.
