Hello Safa. It needs some finishing and Q&A work with Dalton Maag, which probably needs to wait until I can go down to London for another stint to work through things; which means arranging time/accomodation and that's waiting until I've sorted out some other things I'm working on.

Do you have access the present (now quite old) Arabic alpha? This is missing many diacrticals, but it would be useful it you could try using that for various tasks anyway to find any issues with it, and I'm happy to arrange this with you.

Secondly, out-of-interest, which (regional) variants of Arabic-script are you familiar with?

Hi Paul.
Why you can just work with Dalton Maag? Isn't there anyone else??
About Arabic alpha....(you mean alphabet? :p ), I can't see the Arabic characters in the Beta font, I can see it only in the gallery, http://font.ubuntu.com/gallery/

Another thing, I'm not a Calligrapher. I'm a translator only.

My English is bad, I know that :D
