Just installed 9.10 and it won't boot up.
I have a fresh install, and instead of booting up it displays "error: no such device: (set of numbers that i think refers to the hard drive.)" I meet the recommended system specs, and installed it as the only thing on the hard drive.

Hello duke - you may want to go here to ask your question instead: http://
I believe you will encounter a wider range of assistance. This launchpad area is for the ubuntu documentation projects.

the problem with my install was i used a 250 gig hard drive that my bios didn't want to use kept calling it a 8gig that was installed before. After putting the 8 gig back in it I have it working now. probably could have flashed the bios to fix it but putting the other drive back in as master worked just as well.
