Hi,

i think some games works with wine (free) or cedega (commercial, http://transgaming.com/index.php?module=ContentExpress&file=index&func=display&ceid=29), some Games like Doom 3 are ported to Linux. A good overview gives holarse.net (i see thats in german, dont know if they have an english-section too). Hope this will help

Martin

Hello,

You can run a lot of windows games with wine, more information about wine on ubuntu here:
https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Wine

You can see if a specific program/game will work on Ubuntu by looking at the wine application database here:
http://appdb.winehq.org

Example:
deltaforce works without problem: http://appdb.winehq.org/appview.php?iVersionId=7703
Call of Duty 2 works but without sound : http://appdb.winehq.org/appview.php?iVersionId=3794

Some commercial games like Unreal Tournament 2004 and Enemy Territory: Quake Wars should also work on Linux.

Can you help with this problem?
