Comment 55 for bug 224971

Apparently I am still subscribed to this thread, so got the email notification on the last comment. Since I analyze malware I wanted to follow the links mentioned, but all the Google hits I received were to legitimate Ubuntu Wiki pages. I suspect the links to binary downloads are instead due to the computer being infected with one of the redirect malwares being spread lately. With zero intent on spamming the site, you may want to consider reviewing this computer at MalwareCrypt, or any of the reputable malware removal help sites.
