Is there a way to stop an alarm during a snooze?

Asked by Dan González

I've noticed no simple way to stop an alarm after tapping snooze on the notification other than wait the snooze time and tap OK.

This simple thing annoys me, specially with my wake up alarm. When I finally get out of bed, I don't remember if I tapped Snooze or OK the last time and, suddenly, the alarm scares me whatever I'm doing, including handling hot water :-(.

I'm I missing something? I haven't find any bug related to this and I could have overlooked any mention to this matter on the User experience specification (https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/1JvDyhsW17d1-Mz8OY1YMBKwfRI2z9qgyRjbujEsxEMk/edit#slide=id.p).

This is indeed a valid point. The designers haven't explored this issue. Thanks for bringing it up. I have reported a bug [1] against the indicator-datetime project. Hopefully we can see something similar to a missed call where the messaging indicator shows "call back" and "message" action buttons.

Let's track this issue at the bug report mentioned above.

Hope this answers your question.

Sure it does, Nekhelesh.

On one hand I'll have to pay more attention to the hot water for a while, but on the other hand I'm completely confident that it's only a matter of time and it will be solved the best way possible.

Also, thanks to report the bug. You've done it in a more concise and clearer way I would be able to.
