Display on the Home screen

Asked by Gabriele

It would be useful to be able to view on the main screen all alarms programmed .

Why not?

( or indicate on the tab at the bottom , the time of the next alarm. Not the time remaining to the next alarm ) .

I Use Aquaris e.45 Ubuntu edition with Utopic 14_10 R.20

At the moment you can see the next alarm in the clock indicator in the global menu.

Thank You Torsten.
I saw what you tell me . It would be more comfortable , I think , if the alarms were visible on the home application, as with time zones.

Hi, I am the developer of the clock app. I am curious to the following assertions you make,

- "Showing the time of the next alarm rather than the time remaining to the next alarm."

Why? Isn't knowing how long you have before the alarm rings more important? I am curious since after discussion we figured the time remaining to the next alarm was appreciated by some people that we added it. Previous it just showed the text "Alarms". If you provide a good reasoning for the above statement, I can make a case to the design team on your behalf :)

- "It being more comfortable if the alarms were also visible on the home screen along with the timezones"

I am not sure this is a good idea. I don't see how it is difficult to see the alarm by swiping from the bottom. Adding the alarms to the home screen would just not provide the necessary segregation between different types of data.

Hi Nik90 ,
first thanks for reply !
I reconsidered what you told me and , indeed , the current setting could be the most correct .
Maybe you could add clear indication of the next alarm , leaving the alarm list as "Alarm management" to enable or disable the alarms. See attached image .
