Feedback on the Lenovo ThinkPad P16s Gen 4 AMD (AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX PRO 370, Radeon 890M) (202503-36575)

On my Lenovo ThinkPad P16s Gen 4 AMD with Ubuntu 25.10,
the previously set screen brightness is not applied when the laptop wakes up from suspend; instead, the screen is at maximum brightness. However, the set value is obviously saved, because when I press a key to change the brightness, it is used as the starting point. The “darker – brighter” key combination therefore restores the previously set level.
How can I get GNOME(?) to reapply the brightness setting when waking up?
