Feedback on the HPE ProLiant DL385 Gen10 Plus (202011-28369)

Unable to boot the installer CD (remote url). In UEFI mode the boot leads to opcode 06x errors on a red screen. In Legacy boot mode, the screen freezes with multicoloured error bands. Something like this, but not quite; https://support.hpe.com/hpesc/public/docDisplay?docId=emr_na-a00104671en_us

I'm unable to install Ubuntu server on this hardware.

Jeff Lane suggests this article as an answer to your question. Additionally, all server certifications are performed using MAAS (Metal as a Service) which is Canonical's tool for quickly and reliably deploying Ubuntu Server in the datacenter.
