Feedback on the Dell Vostro 14 5401

How do I dual boot Ubuntu along with windows 10 on the Dell Vostro 5401? The system seems to be in raid config and is using rst which Ubuntu does not seem to be able to support and from looking it up online looks like switching away from raid will make windows unbootable.

Do I try reinstalling windows after switching to AHCI and then install ubuntu? Will it cause problems with windows support and/or warranty from Dell?
