Feedback on the Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon 7th Gen

The microphone is not listed on the hardware page for this device. Additionally, the microphone does not appear when going to Audio and looking at the Input settings.

Has the microphone been tested and verified to work?

I have not tried the Lenovo-posted solution of recompiling the Ubuntu kernel with the SOF stuff they suggest in the docx they posted. (see wiki entry for link to that file)
