Hi... I have no idea what a "converged flx card" is. Can you provide a make/model/chipset? What release of Ubuntu are you running? How is it installed/deployed? Is the OS deployed at all?

Hello Jeff,
it is the usual mezzanine card for HPE ProLiant BL420c Gen8,

HP FlexFabric 10Gb 2-Port 534FLB Adapter

I guess is a broadcom white labeled

The OS is Ubuntu 18.04
uname -a output:
Linux gec-co-kvm01 4.15.0-58-generic #64-Ubuntu SMP Tue Aug 6 11:12:41 UTC 2019 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux

I can see the network interfaces but I cant use the FC

See the attached FAQ for info on finding support. You could try a driver directly from Broadcom (bnx2fc?). In theory that card should work using bnx2x, IIRC, and that should still hold true for 18.04, so this is something that will need some deeper diving than I can do via this venue.

Good luck.
