Recovery Mode not working.

For some reason, "Esc" Key no longer sets the OS to the "Recovery Mode" during the bootup. I also tried the "Shift" key - all to no avail.

Ubuntu 19.04
Dell Inspiron 3180
OS: Ubuntu-only

You probably have to experiment with timing of the key press, earlier versus later. or press and hold versus hitting the key several times.

Why do you want to boot in recovery mode? What happens if you try booting normally?
