Feedback on the HP Laptop 14-ck0xxx - Granger14
Hello Ubuntu,
Good day! I am a huge fan of Ubuntu, contribute to Ubuntu financially, and provide feedback when possible. This email brings to the feedback portion. I own the HP Laptop 14-ck0xxx (4AG13UA#ABA) and I can firmly tell you that Ubuntu 18.04 or 18.04.2 does not support this laptop's WiFi driver - RTL8723DE. Each time I reinstall Ubuntu there is no WiFi adapter (found) detected. Even after performing all updates with a LAN connection after a brand new install the WiFi adapter is still not detected. I have to perform the following steps to get the WiFi adapter to work:

Thanks and best regards,
earle

I believe HW vendor is working on integrating the driver to kernel, thanks for you feedback!
