16.04 installation looks wrong for textual installation

4.4 kernel do not see disc
hwe with uefi result in scrambled video

the only working solution was with hwe kernel and legacy bios

tested with latest 2288H V5 bios (6.67) and ubuntu 16.04.6 server iso

As described in the certificate note for 16.04, only HWE is supported fully. The 4.4 kernel has limited support and may not function as expected.

Regarding uefi, thanks for pointing that out. Please file a bug against uefi and then add a note to this with a link to the bug with full details on what you tried and what the results were. Thanks.
