Feedback on the Dell Inspiron 5575 - Loki 15 AMD
I have a Dell Inspiron 15, model 5575, with an AMD Ryzen 5 2500U on which I installed Ubuntu Mate 18.04. The machine occasionally freezes and I have to hard reset the laptop via the power button.
I've set the kernel parameters:
acpi_osi=Linux
acpi=noirq
But, that hasn't solved the issue.
I've also installed "amd-disable-c6," but the service will not start.
Is this issue particular to AMD processors? If LTS 16.04 is certified, why not 18.04?
