Feedback on the Dell EMC PowerEdge R440

Dear Sir/Mdm,

Im trying to install Ubuntu 16.04.1 LTS 64-bit onto a new dell EMC R440.
Apparently i'm stuck in the page of configuring Partition. They are unable to detect the Raid 1 SAS drive.
It is only able to detect my thumb drive.
Please advice. Thanks

Please refer to the attached FAQ for info on venues for support that can give you a better answer for this.

Also, if you're using the onboard SATA RAID it may not work due to the nature of how those devices work (they require specialized drivers that are not always present in Linux). One option that is perfectly workable for you may be handle the drives in JBOD mode (non-RAID) and use Software RAID configured in the installer.
