Feedback on the Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon 6th Generation - Yoda2

This laptop throttles on Linux sooner than it does on Windows. It is a very known issue, all around the internet (https://www.reddit.com/r/thinkpad/comments/870u0a/t480s_linux_throttling_bug/) and I am pretty sure the Canonical Certification Team is aware of it, in one way or another.

Could we get a live update on this from Lenovo itself and if they will ever fix that through a BIOS update
