Feedback on the HPE ProLiant BL460c Gen9

Asked by Grzegorz Patynski

I can't install Ubuntu on iSCSI target which is connected to HPE blade 9 gen - I am able to do it with CentOS. Is there any switch for Ubuntu Installer to pickup connected iSCSI drive during install?

Hi,

Please see the attached FAQ for more information on how and where to find tech support for Ubuntu. Unfortunately, this isn't really a support service so there's not much I can do here. That said, AFAIK, an iSCSI target should work. I do know the blade itself is supported, however, installing to iSCSI is in that area of "should work, but I haven't done it in a very long time".

Please look into Ubuntu Advantage where your difficulties should be quickly addressed.

Thanks,

Jeff
