Hello,
this system is relatively new when compared to Xenial, which released in 2016 Apr.

I would say it's better to start with Bionic, or 16.04.4 if you have any reason to stick with Xenial.
If you're still seeing this issue with Bionic, please open a bug report with command "ubuntu-bug linux" in a terminal (Ctrl + alt + t)
Thanks

Hello! Thanks for your message, I installed Ubuntu 18.04, but my problem is still open. After completing the installation and selecting the "Restart Now" button, my laptop repeated frost. Next, I forcefully turn off the power and run the system for reporting, but after loading Ubuntu the laptop freezes again in a few seconds, so I can not send the message.

Details:
BIOS 1.4.2
Secure boot: disabled
Boot: UEFI (AHCI)
Dual boot: tryed GRUB, rEFInd
SSD: 128GB (Window 10 and bootloader)
HDD:1TB (Ubuntu and storage)
Video: Nvidia 1050ti

Hi Yuriy,

I can reproduce this issue on our side, it looks like this was caused by the open-source graphic driver "nouveau".

Please install your systems with the "Download upgrades while installing Ubuntu" and "Install third-party software for graphic..." option enabled. (You will need network connections)

The upgrade might help with the freeze on boot, and the nvidia proprietary diver will help with the shutdown / reboot hang.

Good luck.

I would say:
1. Try to boot with "nomodeset" temporarily and install the nvidia driver
2. Try to boot with nvidia graphic card disabled temporarily (if possible) and install the nvidia driver
3. Go to the community for help.

Good luck.

Can you help with this problem?
