Feedback on the Dell OptiPlex 7050 - SailFish

I have a Dell OptiPlex 7050 that I tried to install Ubuntu16 with pxe, but the installation fails with no network interface. I manually installed Ubuntu16 on 7050, it still fails to find any network devices.
Please help me troubleshoot to figure out the issue.

Hello,
for this kind of issue, it's very likely that the Ethernet controller was not fully supported by 16.04 (4.4 kernel) yet.
It's better to try newer version, like 16.04.2 (or even the upcoming 16.04.3, which will ship with 4.10 kernel). Or choose a newer release like 17.10 (4.10 kernel).
