Lenovo ThinkPad 13 2G not sold in U.S. with Ubuntu pre-installed

Ordered Lenovo ThinkPad 13 2G from Lenovo online yesterday. Lenovo doesn't pre-install Ubuntu on this machine, at least in U.S. sales. This may apply to all Lenovo machines sold in U.S., since I had to spell Ubuntu for the sales department and explain that it is an operating system. Lenovo tech support and software support confirmed that Lenovo doesn't pre-install or support Ubuntu.
