hi I have a friend and he as This laptop.

all this thing have been working befor Kernel Cahnge of UBUTU 16.04

 but There is a problem with The FN buttons some are working some not, The buttons for sound are working and the rest not, The main problem is that he has no chance to put the brignes up and down off the screen, by FN button or inside of the system UBUNTU 16.04 in graphical system. The other problem is that he couldn't connect a external screen Smatron 73v by the VGA port. This al changed after you have changed the kernel version please update the Kernel for that than we can you all like before.

It will be very nice of you if you can fix this very soon or if you can help him very soon that he can use his laptop with out errors Thank you very much

Hello,
thanks for reporting this, this sounds like a regression for kernel update. Please open bug reports one-by-one on the 16.04 system that can reproduce this, with command "ubuntu-bug linux" in a terminal (Ctrl + Alt + t).

As a temporary solution, you can roll back to an older kernel. Detailed instruction can be found here: http://askubuntu.com/questions/82140/how-can-i-boot-with-an-older-kernel-version
