Query on the HP Envy 15 Notebook PC - Petrus BW 1(PV)

Does ubuntu support HP envy j133tx. I have been thinking of moving to Linux for very long now, but able to work with the whole system just after installing the OS is a big blocker for me. Can you please tell me if ubuntu is 100% compatible with the device.

According to limited information, I suppose this is the most closest model to yours:

It does supported in our older version, however the pre-load Ubuntu only available when you buy them from HP.

For trying our latest Ubuntu release, I would suggest you go to Ubuntu website and follow the instruction,
flash the image into usb drive then boot into live desktop, give it a try before install:
http://www.ubuntu.com/download/desktop

Please kindly let me know what you feel about the latest release.
