Hello,

Do you have the SecureBoot turned off in the BIOS?

For this kind of issue, it would be great to attach the error log, please file a bug on launchpad with "ubuntu-bug nvidia-363" command in a terminal (you can replace the nivida-363 with the package name for your nvidia driver, run "dpkg -l | grep nvidia" to get the name)

More information can be found here: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/X/Troubleshooting/VideoDriverDetection

Thanks
