touchpad cursor constantly going in the bottom left corner

Asked by Mathieu on 2016-08-03

Hello!
I just upgraded to version 16.04 of Ubuntu and now my touchpad cursor tends to go to the bottom left corner of the screen when I'm about to click (apparently, it doesn't do so when I "click" with the pad itself, but I probably haven't tried long enough...). I saw on some french forums some other users had the same problem back in june. Maybe it is a well known (and fixable) problem now... I hope so.

thanks for any help!

Matt

Hello,
thanks for reporting this, this sounds like a bug to me, do you mind to open a bug report with "ubuntu-bug linux" command in a terminal (Ctrl + Alt + t)?
Or you can try other versions of Ubuntu (e.g. 14.04), by just using LiveUSB sticks to see if this issue exist in it.

Thanks
