Feedback on the HP Mini 200 - stella-asahi

i have a hp mini 200 and i install ubuntu 15.4 the desktop kept on draging like am using an old 1986 computer system.
is there a way that i can adjust the resolution or the graphics on the screen so it can move smoothly.
