Feedback on the Dell Vostro 1540 - Caruso15”intel Arrandale

dear ubunt lastday i downloaded as per my lap requirement (dell vostro 1540) ubuntu os 12.4 but laterly i burned ubuntu usb bootable device but when i reboot then enter to select boot usb drive it shows usb doesnt have os please help me to solve

Hi Shriranga,

It looks like the USB drive is not recognized as an Ubuntu booting device. What procedure did you follow in order to make a USB bootable drive with Ubuntu on it?
