hang at startup screen

I had run the following commands to terminal

sudo mount -o remount,rw /
sudo apt update && sudo apt dist-upgrade

and sudo apt dist-upgrade ends up with some error, i don’t remember. then after turn off, when i power it on, it hangs up at startup, i had pressed its power button on and off, but still it is hanged up at startup.

Please see the forums, or askubuntu for assistance with your system. it sounds like something broke during the update, however without the actual error, it will be difficult to diagnose. Someone on the various Ubuntu Community support areas should be able to help you sort this out.
