Feedback on the Asus X401A - Links invalid

Asked by Gabriel

Please update the link in Asus X401A:
http://www.ubuntu.com/certification/hardware/201209-11781/
In these links most of the links show the 502 error. If you update the links this will help me and other people installing the drivers to install Ubuntu or a Ubuntu derivate. If I have to install the drivers and this page do not have it can you tell me where can I found it?

Hi Gabriel,

Regarding the 502 status pages, I reported the issue on Launchpad (lp:1511184).

Regarding your drivers issue, can you please let me know:

- what version of Ubuntu you're trying to install (14.04, 15.10, … ?)
- what issue you're currently experiencing, and what drivers you may need (network, graphic card, ?)

Also, can you provide information about your hardware? To do so:

1. Open a terminal by pressing Ctrl+Alt+T
2. Type the following command to retrieve information about your system hardware:
    lspci -nn
3. Copy and paste the output here.

Thanks!

Hi Gabriel,
From your lspci output, it looks like you have the audio controller from Intel (those two Realtek device is your Ethernet controller and your media card reader).
This should not happen and could be a bug to your kernel (which contains the audio driver), please check if it's a hardware issue and open a bug report for it.
Thanks.

Never mind. I founded the RealTek driver in the RealTek page.
