Feedback on the Lenovo ThinkPad T440p - Oasis

Hi,

Since the upgrade from BIOS v 1.14-> The posibility of chosing the active GPU (Discrete/Intel) has been removed from the BIOS. This effektively makes it impossible to use the discrete GPU on this machine with the NVIDIA drivers.

This means no external monitors. Only the built in Screen.

Using the Discrete card leads to serious memory degredation.

This laptop and the ones with similar behaviour should be removed from the certified list.

Hi,
thanks for your suggestion, however these system are not certified with the BIOS version you mentioned here, I think it's better to raise this issue to Lenovo, as we have no control to the BIOS itself.

Also, maybe you can try to change the performance / power-saving profile in NVIDIA settings to see if it works.
