Feedback on the Dell Precision M4800 - Diesel 15

When will I be able to upgrade this Dell M4800 system from 12.04.5 LTS to 14.04?

Is there a way I can do it now? I just get "No new release found" when I run dist-upgrade.

Hi,
as this system is only certified with pre-installed Ubuntu,
thus if your laptop came with Ubuntu on it, some components may not guaranteed to work after upgrade to 14.04.
If you install the system by yourself, it's more likely that it will keep running after upgrade to 14.04.
(Test it with a LiveUSB will be a safer way to evaluate this)
