Ubuntu 14.04 - problem intel hd 5500 on dell inspiron 7348

Hi,

I have a Dell Inspiron 7348 and I installed Ubuntu 4.14 LTS. I have problems with the video card intel hd 5500 and with the touchscreen that works only with the basic function of clicks. Since the 7348 certified for Ubuntu 14.04, someone would know help me in having the drivers of video card and the screen?

Hi,

As you didn't mention in your question, what's the problem with your graphic card?
Intel 5500 is a Broadwell graphic chip, it do have issues [1], but for now it's marked as Fix-released on that package.

For the latest Intel driver, you can download it from https://01.org/linuxgraphics

For the touchscreen stuff, it sounds like it's a bug, please open a new bug with "ubuntu-bug linux" command in your terminal.
