Feedback on the Dell Inspiron 5547 - Maple 15 HSW Mainstream

Hello

I installed Ubuntu 14.04.1 LTS 64-bit on my Dell Inspiron 5547 laptop, but I noticed that the operating time is much shorter than in Windows. I found on the Internet information that the system needs to enable laptop mode, what to do to enable it and extend battery life?
