Feedback on the Lenovo ThinkPad Edge E431 - Lion

Hello,

I've installed Ubuntu 14 on my notebook Lenovo e431. I have found two problems.

1) Functions keys for brightness doesn't work.
2) System doesn't recognize BCM43142 wifi adapter, so only way to connect to internet is ethernet cable. I tried to install some BCM drivers from apt-get, som of they worked but monitor mode was unable to use.
