Sound Issue after Update: Dell Vostro 3446

I am using dell Vostro 3446 and After updgrade .... No sound..

Dummy Output ( As output device )

Hi,
Thanks for attaching the alsa-info file, it seems that you're still using the out-dated 3.5 kernel, which has already reached its End-Of-Life [1].
Please install the newer hardware support to upgrade to 3.13 kernel or upgrade to 14.04 Trusty.

Hi,
one question, are you using the pre-installed version of Ubuntu? (Your laptop comes with Ubuntu on it)

Yes I am using pre installed version 12.04 LTE .

I run the command to sudo apt-get update and upgrade.
Sound lost completely ... only working with headphone.

Can you open a bug in lanchpad for this issue, so we can debug further? A bug can be opened by running the following from a terminal:

ubuntu-bug linux
