Feedback on the Dell Latitude 3540

Ubuntu 14.04 and 14.10 work great, but brightness level is not saved after restaring computer.

Brightness is possible to adjust thourght function keys and "Brightness & Lock" in System Settings. However, when computer is restarted default value is returned to 100%.

Solution:

With this command "sudo gedit /etc/rc.local" I added following line:

echo 600 > /sys/class/backlight/intel_backlight/brightness
