Lenovo ThinkPad T540p with 12.04.4 doesnt recognize wireless card

I have a T540p a certified ubuntu laptop, however my wireless card is not recognized and I dont see it in the network manager.

I've tried several solutions recommended online. How could it be certified if Intel Wireless 7260 is not read correctly by the kernel?

Please help! thanks.

Hello,
which version of Ubuntu you're using?
Driver for Intel 7260 is included in 12.04.4 (3.11 kernel)

Sorry for the late reply.

Ubuntu 12.04.4 ( subject)
my kernel is 3.11 +

However the driver is still not working with T540p.

According to comment #27 in bug 1251558
If your kernel is not 3.11.0-19, you can try running upgrade, or test it with 3.11.0-15
If it's still not working, I will suggest you to open a bug.
