Feedback on the Dell Latitude E6540

My laptop is dell latitude E6540, with ATI HD8790M, when I want to connect to a Monitor, the display option under system .has a checkbox named Mirror dispalys is always gray out. I want enable it. after googled.I reinstalled the ati driver ,after execute sudo aticonfig --initial -f , the system show me the warn:the system is running in low-graphics mode.

Hello Eason,
this issue seem to be related to your AMD graphic card,
how do you have your driver installed, with "Additional Drivers" or you install it manually?

Another possible approach is to use the AMD Catalyst Control Center to control the display
This should be installed along with your driver, you can search it in the dash.
