Hello Emanuel,

Thanks for your feedback, as this system, Lenovo ThinkPad E540, was only certified with pre-installed Ubuntu, the regular stock Ubuntu images may not work well with it.
I'll suggest you to subscribe to these bugs, to get updated about the status of them

Cheers

Hello Po

Lenovo ThinkPad E540 have two graphic cards, Intel HD 4600 and Nvidea.
Why the default isn't the Intel (save power)?
And there is any way to use only the intel?

Thanks for the feedback
Cheers

Hello Emanuel,

On some system, you may choose which graphic controller you want to use in BIOS settings, you can check yours.
Here is a document about the Hybrid Graphic
https://help.ubuntu.com/community/HybridGraphics

Also, I saw this article this morning, a new feature in 14.04
http://www.webupd8.org/2014/01/prime-indicator-lets-you-quickly-switch.html

Hope this helps.
Cheers
