Feedback on the Dell XPS 13 (L322X)

I noticed the l322x does not have a Samsung SSD PM830 inside as stated at Canonical's, but instead has a Lite-on LMT-256M6M.

Systems are certified with the configuration shown in the certification website at http://www.ubuntu.com/certification.

Strictly speaking, we cannot guarantee compatibility if the components vary from those shown in the certification database entry. Unfortunately, manufacturers tend to reuse the same model name for different configurations (and even across e.g. Intel CPU generations), making it important to double-check the component list versus the certified one before buying.

I don't think the storage device would make too big a difference on your system, same as the slightly different CPU (but they are both Core i7 from the same generation). However, the change from Intel to Atheros wireless chip is a significant change that impacts certification status. Thus, while it's likely to work OK, it can't really be considered as certified with your configuration.

You know, it was not a question: just I read the differences between the Canonical page about the L322X and what Dell says that is inside the system they supply and also the differences I can see between this very same system I bought at Dell's (and I never opened nor tweak anyway) and what Dell and Cano say there is inside. I was just wandering how Cano can certify anything with all these differences
