Hello,

Have a look at the certified Inspiron models on the certification page:

http://www.ubuntu.com/certification/

If you click on each machine, you'll get information about the components they contain, you can use this information to better match certification data with systems as they are offered on a vendor's web page. This is necessary because, unfortunately, some vendors "recycle" model numbers, so an "Inspiron 15R" today may be entirely different from the model that was certified a year ago. Going by the actual individual components is your best bet.

I did that but the 15R N5110 is an out dated model. I also looked at all other Dells as they were also discontinued models.

Hello,

You could search back from the last page on our certification site.
Normally, newer systems will be listed there, and they're not outdated models.

Please also note that there will be some difference between Pre-installed / Certified systems.
