Feedback on the HP 450

Asked by SillasOS

I´ve created a bootable USB pen drive with Ubuntu 13.04 64-bit ISO, using my wifes HP Probook 4310 running the very same Ubuntu 13.04 64-bit and his bootable disk creator utility.

I´ve tried to boot from this USB pen drive on my HP 450 notebook, on an effort to install the new version of Ubuntu on my PC, wich now is running Win7Pro, but it does not work. I can´t pass trough the initial steps of the initialization, stopping on a black screen.

I also tried with a CD-ROM with Ubuntu 12.10 ISO but have the same negative result.

Is there any problem with this HP 450 notebook to work with Ubuntu ?

Hello,
It looks like you figured out the problem :)

Thanks for filing this bug, if you are still experiencing the same issue (like zero brightness after boot),
please file another one to let it have a chance to be fixed.
