Feedback on the Dell Latitude E5530

My new E5530 came with a BCM4313 (PCI id 14e4:4727) wireless LAN controller, not the model listed on the ubuntu certification page.

The wireless is not connecting (no response to DHCPDISCOVER) to some wireless networks. http://wireless.kernel.org/en/users/Drivers/b43 currently lists this model as a work-in-progress.

Disabling the proprietary driver fixed it.
