Feedback on the Dell Inspiron 7520

must use ubuntu 12.10 because of secure boot.
Ubuntu 12.10 needs certification

Cannot install proprietary driver from ubuntu: it break unith 3d and catalist app dont work
Cannot install proprietary driver from AMD site: it says the device is not supported

Sorry you are having trouble there...

Unfortunately, the system may not be certified or 12.10 due to changes in the certification program and the fact that Dell only asked for 12.04 certification.

As for your video card woes, you should file a bug against the driver in Ubuntu. At least that will start the dialog and get the maintainers to either update the driver in Ubuntu's repos or or at least figure out when the AMD code will contain support for your card.
