Can you please provide detailed information about your RAID setup?
 - how many drives?
 - what RAID level?
 - what RAID controller?
 - what tool did you use to configure the device?

You say "system halted but pc doesn't turn off", can you explain how you are attempting to halt the system?

You also say CPU fan is working 100%. is it all case fans, or one in particular?

There are three issues here, I would suggest you open three separate bugs (one for each issue) using the command:
#ubuntu-bug linux

and link those bugs here using the "Link existing bug" link above.

I've passed this along to one of the engineers who is familiar with HP hardware and it would certainly help him if you could provide more information here.

2 drives, raid 1, raid controller is built-in (HP Smart Array B110i SATA RAID Controller), I use built-in tool that appear at booting of the server

turn off problem solved

cpu @ 100% not solved too, but now it isn't important

Not sure why the status wasn't changed, but yeah, built in SATA RAID in general is a bit weird and usually doesn't work with Linux. There are some cases where it has been made to work but the support is really hit or miss for that.

Can you help with this problem?
