Feedback on the HP Envy 23 AIO

Asked by reedk

The certified hardware list shows the HP Envy 23 AIO as certified "Pre-installed only." Since HP does not sell Ubuntu pre-installed as far as I can see from their web store, I'm confused. What exactly does the pre-isntalled qualification mean?

Also, is it fair to assume (understanding that means without warranty) to guess that an expereienced Ubuntu user could install Ubuntu on this after the fact and get it all working with moderate effort?
