Known Issues
If your ACPI related functions stop working ( Fan Control, Suspend, Function Keys )
1. Make Sure that your BIOS is updated to the latest ( download bootable ISO available from the Lenovo Website )
2. If the issues persist after you have updated your BIOS, boot into ubuntu, shutdown as normal, remove and then reconnect the power supply as well as battery.
This solved the issues for me.
