Problem with wifi

I have problem with connecting to wifi. My laptop is dell inspiron 5420. My wireless device is broadcom 4365. I have ubuntu 12.04 installed. I also had a problem with wired connection but I got it fixed.The wireless doesn't work and even does'nt show up?

Currently, the Inspiron 5420 is not certified for any Ubuntu Release beyond a special image that Dell ships on the 5420 in some markets. The system has not passed certification because of issues with the network devices.

You may have luck if you can find some sort of updated bmcwl driver (assuming that's the driver for your broadcom card).

You should be able to install the driver from Ubuntu repositories once the attached bug has been fix-released.
