Does not install on HP Z800 with NVIDIA Quadro 4000

Just to mention that this distribution (as well as the "standard" ubuntu server version) cannot be installed on a HP Z800 with a NVIDIA Quadro 4000.
It seems that the video card is not well recognize as soon as the install goes to "non-text" style.
Is there a chance that this bug gets fixed? Can I do anything to bypass this graphical install part?
Thanks for your help (I don't want to install SUSE...)

This system was certrified with a Quadro FX 1800. May be an issue with the open source drivers.
